The first party data that you collect on Fresh Relevance can be used in various ways to target ad spend more effectively.
Retargeting with Facebook ads using exported segments
It is possible to target Facebook Adverts at segments of shoppers who've engaged with your website, and optionally reach a wider audience by targeting other shoppers who are similar to them. To do this:
If you are not familiar with Facebook Retargeting, we recommend reading the official Facebook retargeting page before continuing.
In Fresh Relevance, expand the Data drop-down menu, select Segments, and select the Download segment data icon.
This downloads your segment data as a .CSV file which you can later upload and use for your Facebook ads.
In your Facebook account, from the Homepage, expand the ⋯ drop-down menu and select Ads Manager.
Select the shortcut menu at the top of the page and select Audiences.
On the Audiences page, select Create a Custom Audience.
Select the Customer List option and follow the instructions to upload the segment .CSV file you downloaded earlier.
On the Audiences page, you can also optionally select Create a Lookalike Audience so your adverts reach more people.
Select the shortcut menu at the top of the page and select Ads Manager.
On the following page, select the Ads tab and select Create.
Finally, save and publish the advert as you normally would to display the advert to the segment of uploaded users.
Retargeting with X ads using exported segments
It is possible to use X Custom audiences to target X ads at segments of shoppers who've engaged with your website, and optionally reach a wider audience by targeting other people similar to them. To do this:

In Fresh Relevance, expand the Data drop-down menu, select Segments, and select the Download segment data icon.
This downloads your segment data as a .CSV file which you can later upload and use for your X ads.
Your segment must match more than 500 people on X, so it needs to contain a large number of shoppers.
In your X account, select the More button on the left menu then select X Ads.
On the following page, expand Tools menu, then select Audience Manager.
Select Create new audience and select Upload your own list.
Follow the steps in the Audience from lists section on this page to upload the previously downloaded segment to the X list.
On the X Ads homepage, select Create an ad.
On the targeting step of your ad campaign, select Custom audiences (lists) and browse the list you just uploaded.
You can also select the Target similar people to those in your chosen audiences check-box to reach a wider audience.
Finally, save and publish the X advert as normal to display the advert to the segment of uploaded users and also lookalikes if that option was selected.
