2. Add segment rules
Rules on a segment define the specific criteria or conditions that visitors must meet to be included in the segment. For Product change segments, there is a single category for the conditions you can use in you rule: Product.
Condition | Description |
Product Field | Specific product attributes, such as price, category, or brand. |
Extra Data | Incorporate additional product information, such as custom attributes. |
Product Change | Monitor and respond to changes in your product catalog. Changes are:
|
SKU-level Variants | Specific product variations, like color, size, or material. |
To add rules to your segment:
Select the Add rules tab.
Expand the condition category you want to build rules from.
Drag a condition into the segment canvas on the right side.
Configure your rule on the configuration tab.
Target data with conditions
To match ANY value from a list, you can use multiple values within one condition. For example, to target visitors who have browsed computers OR the brand: Roxy in the last 30 days, use the rule any product with the tag or tag value and enter both values in the tag input field.
To match ALL values you specify, use multiple separate rules. For example, to target visitors who have browsed computers AND brand: Roxy in the last 30 days, create one rule for Has browsed any product with the tag or tag value computers and another for Has browsed any product with the tag or tag value brand: Roxy, and drag both onto the rule tree.
To exclude values, use exclusion condition options. For example, to target visitors who have browsed computers but haven’t made a purchase in the last 30 days, create one rule for Has browsed any product with the tag or tag value computers and another for Has purchased no products in the last 30 days, and drag both onto the rule tree.
