While the Has Purchased Slot rule allows you to identify visitors who’ve made at least one purchase, it's not possible to specify the number of times someone has purchased within this rule. So, if you want to identify single purchasers, you can use Segments.
To use Segments, you must have the Behavioral and Social Targeting module. To discuss, contact your Customer Success representative.
To do this:
Go to Data > Segments.
Select CREATE SEGMENT.
For type of segment, select Behavioral, then select CREATE SEGMENT.
Under Add rules, expand the Person History drop-down, and drag a Has purchased block into the segment rules tree on the right-hand side of the screen.
Expand the Purchased drop-down menu and select Number of cart(s) purchased.
Expand the Comparison drop-down menu and select Exactly.
In the Value field, enter 1.
Either:
For In the last, enter the number of days you want to check purchase history for.
orSelect the Use date range checkbox and enter a date range to check purchase history for.
Select the Options tab and enter a name for your segment.
Optionally:
Select Tick to include unidentified person records.
Unidentified records are those with no email address attached.Select Tick to only include person records with marketing permission.
Exclude those who haven’t given express permission to be sent marketing communications.
To add an automatic regeneration schedule for the segment, expand the drop-down menus under Re-generate Segment every and set the schedule you want.
Select SAVE.
Finally, in your Trigger or Slot rules, add a Member of a Segment rule from the Person section, and select the Segment you have just created.
