When you join Fresh Relevance, we create default cart abandonment, browse abandonment and purchase complete programs for you.
You can edit or delete these programs, and you can add more. For example, you might want to send different messages to different types of shopper, or create a program that sends a sequence of two or three reminders after an abandonment event.
Types of trigger program
Cart abandon
Sends messages to visitors who abandon a shopping cart that's not empty.
Browse abandon
Sends messages to visitors who abandon their browsing session after viewing products without adding anything to their cart.
Purchase complete
Sends follow-up messages to each visitor who has made a purchase.
Custom trigger
Sends follow-up messages to visitors based on a customizable event.
For example, downloading a file.
Using custom triggers to add visitors to an email marketing list
Adds a visitor’s email address to a list in your messaging provider when a customizable event occurs.
For example, filling in a popup subscribe form.
Price drop trigger
Sends follow-up messages to visitors who have browsed a product which has then dropped in price.
Back in stock trigger
Sends follow-up messages to visitors who have browsed an out-of-stock product which has then come back into stock.
Messaging channels
Trigger programs can deliver messages using any messaging channels, such as email or SMS, that are included in your subscription package.
Each messaging channel can be set up separately, and you can send messages using a mixture of channels in the same program.
For example, you could set up a cart abandonment trigger program to send:
First reminder message after 15 minutes by SMS
Second message after 1 hour by email
Third message after 24 hours by email
Fourth message after 3 days by SMS
