Cart layouts display the products that shoppers were interested in, for example, products they have added to their cart but not purchased. Cart layouts are used in triggered messages for Abandoned cart to recover potentially lost sales.
When a triggered email send is initiated by Fresh Relevance, the cart layout is dynamically formatted based on the data we hold for the shopper and is then merged into the email template of the destination messaging provide for sending.
For other channels, such as SMS, the whole message is defined in the cart layout.
You can use Cart layouts to display products:
Browsed but not added to the cart - browse abandon trigger email
Purchased - purchase complete trigger email
Browsed with a price drop - price-drop trigger email
In the wishlist - wishlist trigger email
Browsed and now back in stock - back-in-stock trigger email

Cart layout view is a grid space with all your Existing layouts. It displays the layout name and a preview. Hovering over a layout preview shows additional management options.
