  2. Select the Trigger Programs tab.

  3. Select the trigger program you want to test.

  4. Enter your email address in the Catch-all email address for this trigger program field.

  5. Select SAVE.

Set a Catch-All email address across the platform

  1. Expand the User menu and go to Settings > Triggers and Messaging Integrations.

  2. Select Go Live!.

  3. Fill in the fields according to your requirements.

  4. Select NEXT to save your changes.

Pause an individual trigger program and send yourself a test email

Use this option to test a new or updated trigger program manually, without involving live customer emails.

  1. Go to Triggers in the left side menu.

  2. Select the Trigger Programs tab.

  3. Select the trigger program you want to pause and test.
Alternatively, you can select the Enabled Switch Slider to pause the Trigger Program.

  4. On the Edit Program page, select the Pause this trigger program checkbox.

  5. Select SAVE.
You’re returned to the Trigger Programs page once saved.

  6. Select the Three Dots icon to view the trigger program options.

  7. Select the Send Test Email icon.

  8. Select the Send Test Email(s) button.
Select the Edit icon to change the recipient's email address.

Restrict Trigger sends to a specific email address or domain

Use this option to test a new or updated trigger setup based on behaviour on your site, without sending live emails to customers.

  1. Go to Triggers in the left side menu and select the Triggers tab.

  2. Select the trigger you would like to test.

  3. Expand the Person drop-down, and drag and drop the Person Field rule into the Trigger Rule Tree.

  4. Configure the rule to your requirements. For example:

    • To target an individual email address

      • Person Field: Email

      • Comparison: contains

      • Value: [[Your Email Address]] e.g. 'example@company.com'

    • To target a domain

      • Person Field: Email

      • Comparison: ends with

      • Value: [[Your Domain]] e.g. 'company.com'

  5. Re-arrange your Trigger Rule tree to only send emails if the signal matches your new rule.

In the example above, the email only sends to customers who match the exact email address defined.
