Learn to manage the permissions of individual persons.

You have full control over excluding or unsubscribing people from receiving emails, SMS, as well as managing their data collection and processing.


Permit triggered messages

This option is useful when a person has previously been excluded from Triggered Messages. The person only receives triggered messages initiated by Fresh Relevance.

This setting interacts with the Require positive permission setting under Trigger settings.

When Require positive permission is enabled, visitors with Not Set permission (default for new users) won't receive messages. If disabled, they receive messages.

  1. Go to Data > Visitors and select the person you want to re-subscribe.

  2. Under Permissions, expand the OK to Send Emails drop-down menu, and select Given Positive Permission.

    Only do this if the Visitor has previously given permission to send emails.


Exclude from triggered emails

This option prevents the person from receiving any further triggered messages initiated by Fresh Relevance.

  1. Go to Data > Visitors and select the person you want to unsubscribe.

  2. Under Permissions, expand the OK to Send Emails drop-down menu, and select Don’t send.


SMS marketing permissions

To set SMS marketing permissions:

  1. Go to Data > Visitors and select the person you want to change their SMS permission.

  2. Under Permissions, expand the OK to Send SMS drop-down menu, and select the correct permission.

    Options:

    1. Given Positive Permission

    2. Don’t Send

    3. Not Set
