Mandrill settings page in Fresh Relevance

Configure Mandrill settings in Fresh Relevance for sending transactional emails.

When you select Mandrill from Settings > ESP, Fresh Relevance displays a set of configuration fields.

API Key

This API key allows Fresh Relevance to make authenticated requests to your Mandrill account.

Default Email Template Slug for Cart Abandonment

This is the email template in Mandrill you want us to use by default. Create the email template in Mandrill and include a merge code that inserts the HTML generated by the Fresh Relevance cart layout.

The merge code typically looks like this:
*|cart_html|*.

When you create a template, Mandrill uses the name to create a slug to allow Fresh Relevance to reference it.

You can also set this on the trigger. Anything set on the trigger overrides this default.

Default Email Subject

This is the default subject line used for emails sent to customers for example, “Did you forget something?”

You can override this subject on individual triggers. Any subject set on a trigger replaces this default.

Default Friendly From Name

This is the name of the person the email appears to come from, such as, “Your Company Name”.

This value usually stays the same across campaigns, so setting a default is recommended.

Default Friendly to Name

This is the format to use for the name of the person we're sending to, for example, *|first_name|* would mean we merge in the person's first name if collected.

This is unlikely to change for each campaign, so setting a default is recommended.

From Address

This is the email address the email appears to come from, for example, “info@example.com”.

This is unlikely to change for each campaign, so setting a default is recommended.
