Carted and browsed figures for Social Proof tags

Use Social Proof tags to show how often a product has been browsed, carted, or purchased within the time period you select.

Updated over a week ago

You can show Social Proof data in your Recommendation SmartBlocks to highlight how visitors interact with each product. These metrics include browsed, carted, and purchased values, which are calculated based on the time period you select in the Social Proof Data settings. Use this information to display real‑time engagement figures and reinforce product interest in your cart abandonment emails or product recommendations.

The browsing, carted, and purchased values are limited to the time period selected from the Social Proof Data setting on the Options tab of a Recommendation SmartBlock.

The values are defined as:

  • Browsed - the number of times the product browse page for that product has been visited.

  • Carted - the total quantity of the product that has been added to a cart.

  • Purchased - the total quantity of the product that has been purchased.

The browsed figure can be lower than the carted or purchased values when shoppers often add multiple units of a product to their cart.
